Important Notice about Sin

Would you say that you are a good person? Would you say that you live a good life and that you do no harm to anyone? Do you feel that because you are a good person, you’ll be granted life eternal? Whether you believe it or not, that eternal (spiritual) part of us will live forever. The only pertinent question is ‘where.’ Please read this entire page, even if you are not a believer and especially if you are.

It’s a scary thought but there are literally millions of professed Christians who do not understand the meaning of ‘Salvation’ and all of the implications of that term. Paul tell us in his letter to the Romans that none of us, not even one of us, is righteous because there is no one who is truly seeking God.

Romans 3:9-11 (New American Standard Bible)

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD;”

Let’s see whether you really are a good person. Following are a few questions that you should answer honestly. Don’t be concerned, this is strictly between you and God No one else will know your answers. If you are really sure that you are a good person, continue to read.

  1. What is your greatest focus? Do you desire money, power, fame or material possessions more than anything else?

  2. Do you believe that God is a loving and forgiving God who will overlook all of your faults?

  3. Do you ever, out of anger, command God to damn someone or refer to others as damned?

  4. Do you feel that you must concentrate on making money every day of the week?

  5. Do you have respect for your parents?

  6. Is there anyone whom you really hate?

  7. Do you feel that it’s ok to sleep with anyone you want to?

  8. Have you ever taken anything, no matter how small or valueless, that did not belong to you?

  9. Have you ever told a lie, even a small white lie?

  10. Have you ever looked at someone else’s possessions and thought to yourself that that should have been yours?

If you answered any of these questions with a ‘yes’, having been totally honest, you are in danger. Reference

Too often people are told that if they want to live a good life or if they want their problems solved or if they want their addiction cured or if they need a relationship with a spouse resolved, or if …, just accept Jesus and everything will be better.

It is true that Jesus can do all of this and much more. However, that is not the reason to accept Christ. Everyone would love to enhance his living experience. If this were not true there wouldn’t be a cult in existence. It’s a matter of looking in the wrong place for the right thing.

The best reason to accept Christ is …

Because you have broken God’s Law; because you are a sinner, you have sinned, and you will sin again. Sin is the transgression (breaking) of God’s Law. You have broken God’s Law and He is a God of Justice. Yes, He is a God of love. He is not a God governed by blind foolish infatuation as some think. He is a God of PURE LOVE which means that He also loves JUSTICE.

When you answered the questions listed above, if the answer to only one of them was ‘yes’, you have condemned yourself. God does not want to condemn you but you give Him no choice in the matter. Being a God of love and compassion, He must abide by the same judgment of the law that you earn. If you are guilty, you must pay the penalty. Just as a civil court would judge you if you break a civil law, God must judge you by the Laws that He has given for your to follow.

We are told in the New Testament that if we break one of the Laws, we have in essence broken all of the Law. This is why The Apostle Paul could make the statement that there are none righteous. All have broken laws of God and cannot pay the penalty, other than death.

Because God is a loving God and He wants your fellowship forever, He paid the price for you. He made the sacrifice and paid you debt for you to keep you from being eternally damned. He placed His Son, Jesus Christ, on the Cross at Calvary and allowed His death and shed blood to atone (pay) for your debt. The only thing that He asks is that you accept Christ’s sacrifice for your sin-debt.

To begin your journey, a new life in Christ, ask your Holy God to forgive your sin. Tell Him that you accept Christ as your Savior, because He made the sacrifice to pay the debt that you cannot pay. Ask Christ into your heart and ask The Holy Spirit of God to guide you to a new life in Christ. Tell Him in your own words that you want to live your life in His Grace.

Why study at Christian Success Institute?

God states in His Holy Word many times that He wants to prosper us. He created a magnificent world full of wealth, beauty and resources for those of His creation who love Him. Christ told us that if we love Him we will follow His Commandments. We are told to study to show ourselves approved. The mission of CSI is to teach Biblical Success Principles while making Christ the focus of our lives.

By seeking Christ, by studying the Word of God, we place ourselves in a position of favor in the eyes of our Holy Creator. We want everyone to learn the principles of Stewardship which will prove us. In the parable of the Servants and the talents, we see that God will prosper us and favor us with prosperity when we use His direction in the way we handle His property.
